About Us

Owner and wine aficionada Maribel Del Real or Mari as her friends know her, opened Mari's Wine Bar in the Fall of 2010, with a vision of creating Downey's finest wine bar. In 2004, she began her quest to taste the vines of California and around the world to bring back her experiences to Downey. While she has worked in the automotive field with BMW, helping owners with there car repairs, she never lost sight of her passion for fine wine. She knew that in order to achieve her long standing dream of sharing great wine with the community, she would need to establish her own wine bar.

 

Maribel Del Real opened the doors of Mari's Wine Bar in the Fall of 2010. Before opening the doors, she spent months traveling the globe, in search of the finest wines. Critics and patrons agree. Mari's Wine Bar is Downey's best wine bar in town.
